A Canadian comedian who has stormed the UK comedy scene will be performing in Weston-super-Mare next week.

Tanyalee Davis will be at the Blakehay Theatre in Wadham Street on February 1 as part of a Weston Comedy Club event.

Despite standing at just 3ft 6in tall, Tanyalee’s massive stage presence has made her a star of the comedy circuit.

She has extensively toured clubs, festivals and colleges throughout the UK delivering her distinctive and slightly racy brand of comedy to audiences of thousands.

This included a hit performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival of her Little Do They Know show.

Tanyalee performed her huge First Woman Show in 2011 which saw her take to the stage four nights a week for six months at a venue near the Las Vegas strip.

She returned to UK shores in 2013 when her popularity really began to soar, earning TV appearances on Live At The Apollo, The Last Leg and The John Bishop Show.

Controversial Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle also enlisted her as a support act on his 2012 UK tour.

The big screen has also been no stranger to Tanyalee over the years as she has appeared on films including El Matador, For Da Love Of Money and Auston Powers 3: Goldmember.

The show at the Blakehay will also feature two other comedians too, as well as MC Cerys Nelmes.

Tanyalee Davis will perform at the Blakehay Theatre at 8pm.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from www.blakehaytheatre.co.uk or the box office.

The Mercury has teamed up with the Blakehay Theatre to offer three pairs of tickets to see Tanyalee Davis.
