Win tickets to see Vampires Rock

The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse, Weston, to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to see the show.

POWER rock will return with a vengeance next month when a popular singer returns to town.Steve Steinman will take to the stage at The Playhouse in Weston with his Vampires Rock show on June 10.The show, which features great rock anthems from the likes of Queen, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, AC/DC, Guns 'n' Roses and Bonnie Tyler, is set in New York in 2030.The tale follows the owner of a nightclub, Baron Von Rockula and his sidekick, Stringfellow.Rockula is in search of a bride and must convince his chosen one to agree to immortality.Since Steve's grand final appearance in Stars In Their Eyes in 1993 he has taken his musical concert show on tour around the world.This latest version will feature classic tunes like We Will Rock You, Bat Out Of Hell, Sympathy For The Devil, You Give Love A Bad Name, Since You've Been Gone and Total Eclipse Of The Heart.Tickets, priced £13-15, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse, Weston, to offer one lucky reader the chance to each win a pair of tickets to see the show.To enter, please answer the following question:In which year did Steve make it through to the Stars In Their Eyes final?Closes:9 am on June 1.Usual Archant Regional Ltd rules apply and the editor's decision is final.
