For the people...

Turtles were the subject of one of the museum's People's Exhibitions.
THERE is plenty of interesting history surrounding North Somerset - and it’s all at your fingertips.
North Somerset Museum in Weston tells the story of the district through objects in its care and a range of exciting collections and exhibitions.
Special people’s collections, in which residents from across the district put on show their collections of weird and wonderful items, are always popular.
Up until April 29 there is a feast of Eeyore memorabilia on display and, from May 2 until June 24, there will be a collection of pigs (not live ones!) on display.
The museum in Burlington Street also runs Saturday Fun Days. These include a range of hands-on children’s craft activities from finger puppet making to stencilling.
The activities are suitable for children aged seven and above and booking is essential.
For more details about the museum and the activities it stages call 01934 612526.
