The following cases were heard before North Somerset magistrates between June 5-10:

* Gavin Holder (30), of Severn Road, Weston. Aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving: 16-week prison sentence, disqualified from driving for 12 months. Driving without insurance: No separate penalty. Handling stolen goods: One-week prison sentence. Handling stolen goods: One-week prison sentence. Five counts of theft: One week prison sentence. All concurrent.

* Jamie Wilson (26), of Bunting Court, Weston. Using a mobile phone while driving: Fined £45, licence endorsed with three penalty points, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £45 costs.

* Mark Stanton (46), of Westbrook Road, Weston. Using a mobile phone while driving: Fined £85, licence endorsed with three penalty points ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £35 costs.

* Christopher Horsnell (20), of Goosey Lane, St Georges. Criminal damage: Six-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £30 compensation and £60 costs.

*Alan Parr (28), of Grasmere Drive, Weston. Assault: 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £200 costs.

* Paul Stevens (45), of Moorland Road, Weston. Assault: Community order to be complied with by June 2010, ordered to pay £150 compensation and £250 costs.

* Daniel Evans (30), of Homefield Close, Locking. Assault: 18-month conditional discharge. Criminal damage: 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £60 costs.

* Amanda Osman (32), of The Rows, Weston. Assault: 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation. Criminal damage: 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £200 compensation. Criminal damage: 18-month conditional discharge.

* Kathryn Walls (45), of The Swallows, Weston. Assault: Eight-week curfew requirement, 18-month community order and ordered to pay £70 compensation.

* Mark Phillips (46), of The Grove, Winscombe. Drink driving: Fined £500, disqualified from driving for 16 months, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £60 costs.

* Rafat Rzeznik (40), of Drove Road, Weston. Drink driving: Fined £70, disqualified from driving for 16 months, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £30 costs.

* Nicholas Sebourne (25), of Berrow Road, Burnham. Drink driving: Fined £120, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge, £60 costs and disqualified from driving for 30 months.

* Carlo Caltabiano (30), of Longridge Way, Weston. Driving without insurance: Fined £250, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £60 costs and licence endorsed with six penalty points.

* Thomas Gilmour (21), of Atlantic Road, Weston. Driving without insurance: Fined £250, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge, £60 costs and licence endorsed with three penalty points.

* Gemma Watkins (26), of Trewartha Park, Weston. Speeding: Fined £340, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £35 costs and disqualified from driving for 28 days.

* Dean Jones (34), of Willow Close, Weston. Failure to answer to police bail: Fined £20 and one day prison sentence.

* Nathan Giles (19), of Garstons Orchard, Wrington. Failure to provide specimen for analysis: Fined £130, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £60 costs and disqualified from driving for three years.
