Carolyn’s sunshine
27th December 2007
AN EXOTIC Greek island is the latest spot chosen for a campaign photo.
Sunshine Radio launched its fund-raising scheme called Taking Over The World earlier this year and is asking members of the public to buy one of its T-shirts and then have their picture taken wearing it somewhere interesting across the globe.
Carolyn Lee, from Banwell, was holidaying in Corfu.
The photo was taken by her husband Baz outside the Pelekas Beach Hotel.
Their daughter Tiffany had suggested they wear a Taking Over The World T-shirt on holiday after spotting Sunshine Radio presenter Pete Martin wearing his with Mark Ronson in the Weston & Somerset Mercury’s T4 on the Beach feature in the summer.
If anyone is interested in helping with the campaign they should send any photographs to: Sunshine Radio campaign, Weston & Somerset Mercury, 32 Waterloo Street, Weston, BS23 1LW or e-mail them to
newsdesk@thewestonmercury.co.uk
Log onto the Sunshine Radio website at www.sunshinehospitalradio.co.uk for more details.
T-shirts are available from Clobber at 17 Meadow Street, Weston, or can be ordered online through the Sunshine Hospital Radio website.
You can also phone T-Shirt Printing and More directly on 0117 902 9845.
