Political seal of approval
11th October 2007
A CHARITY campaign has had a political seal of approval.
Weston’s MP John Penrose posed for a picture outside his second home, the Houses of Parliament in London, in aid of Taking over The World.
Sunshine Radio launched its fund-raising scheme earlier this year and is asking members of the public to buy one of its T-shirts and then have their picture taken wearing it somewhere interesting across the globe.
Supporters can now win a Virgin voucher and choose from a range of exciting experiences by helping the charity.
To be in with a chance of bagging the prize wear an official Sunshine Radio Taking Over The World T-Shirt in front of a well known or interesting location, anywhere in the world.
If anyone is interested in helping with the campaign they should send any photographs to: Sunshine Radio campaign, Weston & Somerset Mercury, 32 Waterloo Street, Weston, BS23 1LW or e-mail them to newsdesk@thewestonmercury.co.uk
Log onto the Sunshine Radio website at www.sunshinehospital radio.co.uk for more details.
T-shirts are available from Clobber at 17, Meadow Street, Weston, or can be ordered online through the Sunshine Hospital Radio website.
You can also phone Charity T-shirts directly on 0117 9656320.
