THE Highbridge Festival of Arts kicked off on February 27 at The Princess theatre in Burnham.
Now in its 61st year, the event began with delightful dance performances from talented children in the first five days.
There was a range of dance performances on Wednesday with national, modern, Greek, tap and ballet among the categories.
Speech and drama acts took to the stage on Monday.
Vocal performances were performed yesterday and today (Thursday), Instrumental tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, and a special concert finale on March 15.
Festival Publicity manager Joanne Page said: “The judges were impressed with the high standard in the dance, speech and drama categories.

“It is getting so popular with both spectators and performers.”
The event finishes with a flourish as the top performers from each section will be invited to showcase their talents once again at the final concert on March 15.
The arts extravaganza will see over 650 acts over 12 days and 2,000 children performing.
Highbridge Arts Festival is affiliated to the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance, and Speech of which Her Majesty the Queen is patron.
