Egg-tastic fun

PEOPLE off all ages had an egg-cellent time over the Easter weekend.
Face-painting, egg hunts and bazaars were held, and across the area residents tucked in to Easter cake and hot cross buns.
Children dressed up as Easter bunnies at St Georges Community Centre fun day, Beechfield Infant School pupils in Highbridge were treated to chocolate Easter cakes made especially by renowned cake maker Elaine Thomas.
An Easter egg design competition was held at East Huntspill Primary School and hot cross buns and tea were enjoyed at Cheddar First School to celebrate a good Ofsted report.
Royal British Legion members danced away in their hats at an Easter bonnet party in Hutton and the annual Easter bazaar took place at Preanes Green Resource Centre, in Worle, with eggs, cakes and other Easter goodies on offer.
An Easter workshop entertained children at St James Church Hall and Hillside First School pupils had an Easter bonnet competition.
At North Somerset Museum, youngsters painted Easter treasure chests, Weston’s Beach Lawns were filled with classic cars on Sunday for the charity show in aid of Weston’s sea cadets, and there were chocolate bunnies galore at the Grand Pier.
