The future of food and farming

A new attraction, Puxton Park, offers visitors a place to explore and discover the connections between food and farming.

Three new buildings reflecting the colours and shapes of the countryside will be home to a farm shop, children’s play barn and restaurants.

The 70-acre farm creates the environment for visitors to explore the countryside and meet livestock, discover how different crops are grown and what they are used for and to see how conservation plays a critical role in the whole process.

Puxton Park is just 30 seconds from junction 21 of the M5 and has links to the local public transport network. With a bicycle shelter and free transport from the bus stops outside the gate, or the option to walk though the countryside to reach the site, Puxton Park is an oasis in the countryside for visitors of all ages and interests.

The purpose of Puxton Park is to create a space in the countryside where visitors can enjoy the pleasures of food and farming. From restaurants to country walks, play areas to milking demonstrations, Puxton Park has been designed around a working farm with real animals that have been bred naturally to produce the finest products, from meat to milk... it is the place where food and drink starts!

We are open all year round except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
