Warning for dangerous teens
12 March 2010
MOTORISTS are being warned of teenagers riding motorbikes without helmets on rural lanes near Banwell.
In a report to Banwell Parish Council, PC Dave Eastham said he had received numerous complaints of the young peoples' use of the bikes.
He also said anti-social behaviour had increased in the village in the past month.
From February 9 to March 7, police received 42 calls and recorded nine crimes in the parish.
The crimes included three acts of vandalism and three assaults.
