PERFECT pot plants, fabulous florals and creative crafts were all on display in Bleadon this weekend.

The village's horticultural society held its 26th Annual Spring Show in the Coronation Hall on Saturday.

Top prizes were given out to the winners and visitors could enjoy browsing the 240 exhibits.

The horticultural society's Chris Cudlipp said: "The children yet again came up with some really imaginative creations.

"The judges spoke very highly of the overall standard in all of the sections."

The trophy winners were:

JUBILEE CUP: Joe Thomas.

BHS HOMECRAFT CUP: Lucy Stevens.

BHS HANDICRAFT CUP: Pete Williams.

MIKE WELCH MEMORIAL CUP: Pete Williams.

VICTORIA SANDWICH CUP: Neil Coombes.

IRENE HILDITCH 'COOKIE' PLATE: Libby Lockyer.

KING CUP: Naomi Morgan.

DAVIES CUP: Peter Durston.

JUNIOR CUP: Daniella James.

SOCIETY SPRING SHOW CUP: Chris Cudlipp.
