Villian drops into school

CHILDREN at Golden Valley Primary School met a villain from the past as part of their work learning about Bristol's history.

Pirate Pete came to scare and thrill the mini pirates with tales of Edward Teach's, also known as Blackbeard, wicked past.

The year four pupils at the Nailsea School learnt that he is rumoured to have been a Bristolian and that he scared his victims by lighting fuses in his hair and beard.

A fun day was had by all.
