CHaOS science day
29 July 2010
SCIENCE was made fun for children in Clevedon as part of a special event.
Run by student volunteers from the University of Cambridge and called The CHaOS Science Roadshow, youngsters visiting The Barn in Great Western Road on Sunday could take part in exciting experiments.
This included making mini-explosions, building bridges and extracting DNA from a kiwi fruit.
CHaOS stands for Cambridge Hands on Science and the roadshow travels around the country visiting schools and also holding public events to give an interactive approach to science.
