PCSO's
Reply Quote
What's the point of PCSO's if they are not going to do anything constructive.  I saw a 4 x 4 parked on the pavement, leaving approx 1 foot for people to get by, a lady with a pram had to walk on the road to get by. Two PCSO's walked straight passed the veihcle and took no action. A £30.00 FPN would have made the driver think again.

I agree about people parking on the side walks. Side walks are for pedistrans not for parking on. Here in Canada b.c. you can end up getting a £50 pound ticket, have your car impounded or both.

Cheap way of putting lookalike police on the streets.

They have all the gear, but no idea...

I have to disagree with you . Our PCSOs are fantastic, they have turned our estate into one of the best places to live - look at the Mercury this week - crack house closed, drug raids & boy racers being dealt with, from what I hear PCSOs get told a lot by their communitys and I don't care what you say I think they do a great job considering.

You have to stop thinking of them as being police officers as they are not and never will be. That is like moaning that a member of the Car Ambulance Service didn't stop and deal with a heart attack patient etc - that's a job for a Paramedic, the same applies to PCSO's.

Not sure where you live but maybe you should get to know yours. Once you do and you realise how much they do that you don't realise you will be surprised.

Having met ours - that is where I get the impression from - besides having worked along side them for a good while!
