Is there one ? - I've looked about (on google) and can't find one that covers the town centre (eproperty link is closest) - there are quite a few empty shops in town - and places to let - I've set up a group on BT's tradespace (which looks abit like a business version of myspace/facebook) for Weston-super-Mare. What I'd be interested to know is would anyone in Weston be interested in this kind of thing ? - my other option is to try and drum up interest in the town from outsiders. My interest in this is because it's sad seeing all these empty shops going to waste, I'd love my own shop, but things like business rates for council tax and all that scary stuff - means it'll probably not happen for me - but someone else might benefit or get inspiration to start up a business venture in the town - if some sort of directory / guide was there. Shared office space and small retail units for start-up is also of interest to me - they have shared offices with internet access in Bristol from about £49.00 a week (looked in gumtree) - I think a shared office space set up could work here - that's if there are people that are interested in such things, I wonder if it's just me that comes up with ideas for ways of working that are currently not in use or under used to there full potential ??? I also often wonder how any of the retail outlets afford to pay rates in town ? - I'm talking about smaller shops down Meadow Street/Baker street - are all these shops aready sitting on a pile of cash which is how they can stay open or are there discounts for shops that aren't going to have hords of customers running through the doors 9-5 ? Yes, there is one.  It's government-funded, registration is required, it's a pile of pants and the data isn't publicly-available, so commercial providers can't compete with the government effectively.  See http://www.investwest.org/property_database.shtml I don't mind government funding services if they're any good, but providing a bad service and spreading oil on the road to slow down competitors is not on!    Report
