Strange to see a story on the Mercury about this.
Is it bad? Or is it harmless?
You decide.
Peculiar mindset, football hooliganism. I know someone who is a self-confessed hooligan - in all other aspects of his life, he's a quiet, unassuming and down-to-earth chap - yet he takes great pleasure from going out and lamping people.
I just don't get it...
I think that to a certain extent it's OK. After all, most 'meets' these days are pre-arranged and between people who want to be involved.
However, when mongish types run around lamping scarfers and others who aren't interested I think it's unacceptable.
