The Farm Shop in Dolphin Square has an excellent fresh fish department, lovely meat and local sausages etc.
Took a look. Didn't see any fish. Lots of meat. Where's the fish?
Oh! Sorry! Have they stopped doing fish already...? Really I do apologise but the last timeI looked the fish was on the left if you stand at the butchers and look toward the window, there's deli, cheeses and then there was fish then the til. Wonder what happened...? Next time I go I'll ask.
Old Westonians never die, they go out on the tide...
Cheapest ? yes and no. You have to shop around. Unfortunately, a lot of people nowadays prefer a one stop shop, and of course, there's the parking issue.

What parking issue? Madeira, Old Col and Locking Road car parks all seem to have spaces most times I pass. You can't often find a space in the tiny Grove Road car park or on Boulevard near the Mercury offices and there seem to be many people trying, but a bit of silliness doesn't really equal a parking problem. Anyone know the actual occupancy rates for the town centre car parks?
It's better by bike, though. There are actually enough racks in most town centre locations since about a year ago!
I guess it was always on a fairly short lease with the looming redevelopment. Anyone know when it went or where it might reopen? Their website is down. Might it reopen back in the still-unused shop by Kewstoke Toll Gate?
It's not imminent, but it is looming: appearing indistinctly, coming into view in indistinct and enlarged form.
The mere intention of redevelopment means landlords don't want to give long leases and tenants don't want to invest in the shops because it will all become dust. It's a chilling effect, casting a shadow over that part of town.
