11/11/2008, 10:31 PM CazInZumerzet Joined on 02/08/2008 Weston super Mare Posts 213 Re: Grand Pier Webcam Difficult to tell without getting an aerial view and I thought maybe we could ask Councillor Helicopter to go up for a recce!    From the Prom, it looks very bare, and dark.  Last Saturday evening was the first time I had seen it after dark and it was terribly gloomy except for the very few luminous green lights left at the Prom end of the pier.  It also has  a sort of 'riding light' at the end, for passing shipping maybe? Old Westonians never die, they go out on the tide...    Report

Hopefully we will be able to move it to a local server and then try it again at 3 secs.    Report

There was a problem a few days ago when the electricity was cut due to work being carried out, but that was fixed and it's been working fine since. Thanks Clare    Report
