A SWORD swallower, who has entertained Weston crowds for more than five years, almost died when he impaled himself during a live act.

Hannibul Hellmurto from the Circus of Horrors, who once reached the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals, had to miss November’s trip to The Playhouse after a horrifying accident which saw him rip a 10cm hole in his oesophagus when swallowing a lit glass neon tube in Bradford.

Having spent three weeks in intensive care and a further fortnight in hospital, he is now fully recovered and will be rejoining the tour this year, which includes a performance at the Colston Hall in Bristol next month.

  • What concerns me the most is the damage that may have occurred from the Mercury that had been exposed to his internal throat. There is also some possible concerns to Glass that is not able to be seen or felt and he possibly swallowed some of the Mercury as well. So he is not off the hook for future health issues. I have voiced my concerns here but this man still has a tough road to plow, Please keep him in your prayers as his health will deteriorate as time goes on, doesn't all of ours do that already?... Now may the Lord God heal him as he goes on with his shows and bless this man, may he learn of God's truths in His Son Jesus Christ.
