A SECOND wave of acts have been unveiled for a festival packed with up-and-coming music stars.

The Dot To Dot Festival has given birth to a range of new stars in recent years including Ed Sheeran and The xx.

Now, acts including surf punk rockers Wavves, acoustic wizard Willis Earl Beal and synth-driven psychedelic rock group Hooray For Earth will be joining an already impressive line-up.

Coming to Bristol this summer, the festival has already confirmed acts including Dog Is Dead, Pulled Apart By Horses and The Drums.

Patterns, Random Impulse, Clock Opera, Beth Jeans Houghton and Swiss Lips are also set to take to the stage alongside The Rumour Said Fire and Pond.

Dot To Dot organiser Anton Lockwood said: “Our second announcement for Dot To Dot 2012 sees us welcome some of the most hotly tipped new acts in the world. This is what Dot To Dot is all about.”

The festival is coming to various venues across Bristol on June 2.

Tickets, priced £20, are available from www.alt-tickets.co.uk or by calling 0845 4134444.
