WHERE can people enjoy the magic of Christmas in North Somerset?
Here's a list of grottos, markets, stalls an' all popping up near you in the countdown to the big day.
Weston
An Elf Workshop and Santa’s grotto will be held every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Christmas Eve at The Sovereign. Children are ticketed at £8.
The Grand Pier will hold a grotto every day until December 24. Tickets are priced at £12 and can be booked at www.grandpier.co.uk/events/santas-grotto-2022.
On December 17 and 18, an elf workshop for kids is to see a return to the pier.
Late night shopping will continue in Weston where High Street retailers open until late. The Sovereign plans to stay open until late every Thursday from December 1 to 22.
The popular Eat:Weston festival is to return to the Italian Gardens on December 11 where local produce stalls will put home and farm grown food on offer including drinks and goodies.
Christmas Markets
- Weston Museum, in Burlington Street - December 3.
- Can’t Dance Coffee, at The Sovereign - December 12 to 13.
Events
- Bingo Lingo Christmas special at The Tropicana, on December 17.
- A Christmas concert is to be heard at Weston Museum on December 19.
Clevedon
Families can enjoy the popular festive activity of skating on ice in the town at Queen's Square on December 2 and 3 this week.
The town centre will also hold a winter market on December 8.
Portishead
The Methodist Church Hall will see a Christmas market on December 3 and a Victorian fayre in town on December 11.
Further afield, a Christmas market will also be held at the Long Ashton Community Centre on November 27.
