SCORES of people flocked to a Weston pub last week to watch its annual Christmas light switch-on event and nab a sneak peek of Santa ahead of the big day.
The popular show, on November 25, saw around 500 people watch the dazzling display and enjoy festive music with a bouncy castle and even an ice cream van.
Crowds gathered at The Walnut Tree's car park where even Saint Nick took to the roof to officially declare Christmastime at the pub.
This year the public house on Winterstoke Road is raising money for poorly kids at Bristol Children's Hospital.
On Sunday, December 4, a Christmas market will be held with a big raffle draw, rides, ice cream and burger vans too.
Proprietor Frank Sprackman, who also operates Imagination Fascination with his wife Rebecca, said: "We absolutely love doing our bit for the community and we will continue to do so throughout next year."
