Christmas came early at Extend Learning Academies Network's (ELAN) schools, courtesy of Uncle Paul’s Chilli Charity.
A bevy of chocolate delights arrived from the Butcombe-based organisation for all primary pupils, and the network's longstanding partnership was praised by the appreciative academies.
An ELAN spokesperson said: "We were delighted to receive a huge delivery of chocolate treats for our primary school children from our friends over at Uncle Paul’s Chilli Farm.
"We have partnered with the charity for some years now to enable them to gift a treat to as many children as possible in the area.
"We are so grateful to Uncle Pauls for their support over the years, it means the world to our children and staff!".
Uncle Paul’s Chilli Charity, founded in 2020, works to support young people and adults facing social disadvantages or barriers to learning and employment.
ELAN's network includes nine primary schools: Banwell, Bournville, Locking, Oldmixon, Mead Vale, Mendip Green, Milton Park, Walliscote and Windwhistle.
