WESTON'S RNLI crew were called out last week after a vehicle left the toll road towards Kewstoke.
The casualty was able to extract themselves from the vehicle before they made their way to the rocks, where the RNLI crew assisted them up the cliff to safety.
A spokesperson from the life-saving charity said: "On Friday night (January 26, 2024) our lifeboat crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to a vehicle leaving the toll road towards Kewstoke.
"Both boats were launched to support a multi-agency response (Avon and Somerset Police, Weston-super-Mare Coastguard Rescue Team, Burnham Coastguard Rescue Team, Avon Fire & Rescue Service, South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust).
"The casualty was able to extract themselves from the vehicle and make their way to the rocks.
"On arrival RNLI volunteer crew assisted them up the cliff to safety with support from the Fire Service, where medical services were waiting."
