A ROAD in Weston is set to close in phases for three weeks to allow for resurfacing and minor works.
Work on the Broadway and Olxmixon Road is due to start on Monday, May 13.
A North Somerset Travel and Roads spokesperson said: "Advanced Notice – Broadway and Oldmixon Road, Weston-super-Mare.
"Resurfacing and minor works are programmed to start on Monday, May 13, 2024, for three weeks (excluding bank holidays and weekends).
"To carry out these works safely a road closure will be in place between 20:00-06:00.
"The road will be closed in phases from the A370 hospital roundabout to Oldmixon Road (beyond the mini roundabout with Winterstoke Road).
"For the first two nights of these works (May 13 and 14) three-way traffic signals will also be in place on the A370 hospital roundabout.
"Traffic Marshals will be positioned in key locations to assist local residents throughout the road closure."
