MEMBERS of the 2nd Clevedon Scout Group made contact with youngsters across the world as part of an international event.

Jamboree on the Air was held on October 19-20 and sees about 500,000 scouts and guides from across the world contact with each other using amateur radio.

The use of amateur radio means they have the chance to learn the skills of wireless radio techniques and electronics while also talking to their counterparts from other countries.
