Police have put out an appeal to help fund a missing 23-year-old man from Weston-super-Mare, Lewis Saddler.

He was last seen at 9pm yesterday (Tuesday) and was last heard from around an hour later when he made contact with a friend.

Avon and Somerset police have put out an appeal to find him, and a force spokesman said: “We’re concerned for his wellbeing and want to locate as soon as possible.”

Lewis is white, of muscular build, and around 5ft 5ins tall. He has short, dark brown hair, and a short cropped beard.

He has tattoos on his arms and on his left hand.

Anyone who sees Lewis should call 999 and give the call handler reference number 5217195588

The police spokesman added: “If you know where he may be, or have recently seen him, please call 101 and give the call handler the same reference number.”

UPDATE, 4.49pm: Lewis Saddler has been found.
