A CYCLIST collided with an 84-year-old man, breaking his leg – and police are appealing for information about the incident.

It happened between 12.30-2pm on April 23 at The Scaurs near Worle High Street.

The cyclist was riding away from the High Street when he collided with the man, who was later taken to Weston General Hospital with a broken leg.

Police believe a second incident may have happened shortly afterwards, but are still trying to piece together exactly what happened.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
