Assaults and burglaries reported to Avon and Somerset Constabulary in four North Somerset villages

Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

Burglaries, harassment and threats were just some of the crimes reported in a rural area of North Somerset during the past three months.

There were 22 crimes in total reported to Avon and Somerset Constabulary in the villages of Yatton, Claverham, Kingston Seymour and Kenn from September 12 to November 24.

The most common crime was burglary from sheds or garages, which happened six times.

There were also four burglaries, where items such as power tools were stolen from homes across the four villages.

Three instances of theft, three public order offences, two cases of threats and two domestic assaults were also reported to the area’s neighbourhood policing team during this time.
