Sexual violence support services commission survey to improve survivors’ experiences

Services in Avon and Somerset which provide advice to people who have experienced sexual violence want to find out how their work can be improved.

The services have produced a survey so survivors can share their experiences.

The results will be used as evidence to show the needs of service-users in Avon and Somerset, and will shape how those services are presented in the future.

An assessment of the pathways available to survivors of sexual assault is being produced, and is due to be published in the spring.

The results of the survey will be included in the assessment.

Sexual violence support services in the area include SARSAS, Lighthouse, Safelink and The Bridge.
