The event took place on Saturday at the Memorial Hall, in Silver Street, and saw people enter displays in a range of categories.

Youngsters Mia Hosford, Millie Baker and George and Molly Blundell all won prizes for their floral arrangements, decorated eggs and cake.

Show organiser Jim Swords’ flower arrangements were also deemed worthy of a prize, while Ivor Marshall’s impressive vegetables were also given an accolade.
