The campaign aims to get youngsters outside, active and involved in society.

Previously winners have put the money towards gym equipment, new kits and uniforms and this year is no different, with the organisers welcoming applications from around the town.

You can complete the form online here or alternatively download the application here.

Alternatively you can pick up a form from the Mercury office in Waterloo Street.

Applications must be submitted to eleanor.young@archant.co.uk or to Go Kids Go!, Weston, Worle and Somerset Mercury, 32 Waterloo Street, Weston, BS23 1LW by 9am on July 18.

Cheques will be presented at the Lions’ Real Ale Festival on July 29.
