Birdboxes were made in Worle as part of a series of nature events.
Naturalist and broadcaster Chris Sperring led the session at the Big Worle Hub in Clovelly Road.
The wildlife group identified the best sites for the boxes during a walk with Chris, and then met the next day to build them.
Karen Blake, from Big Worle, said: “The bird boxes are part of a larger project to look at nature conservation in the local area, and residents are being encouraged to make a better environment for wildlife through a series of activities and walks planned each month and led by Chris.
“We were particularly pleased a number of younger community members came to the workshop, as we feel it’s important to teach the next generation to care for their environment and take pride in their local area.”
The bird boxes could not be put up straight away as it was raining, but they will be installed soon.
