More than 150 exhibits were displayed at a spring show in Bleadon at the weekend.

Forty two exhibitors entered flowers, crafts, cakes and photos in various categories.

The 44th annual show was organised by Bleadon Horticultural Society.

Show secretary Libby Boucher said: “Bleadon Horticultural Society was very pleased local exhibitors are still very keen to support our village show and thanks everyone who exhibited, helped on the day and all those who came to view the exhibits on show day.

“We also would like to thank our sponsors who have supported our village show.”

Rosie Presburg won in the section for children aged under five, and Jacob Eade won the junior section for youngsters aged six to 11.

The summer show will take place on September 1 in the Coronation Hall. Schedules will be available in July.
