Kristian Gould, aged 35, from Elm Tree Road, Locking, and his brother Kyle Gould, aged 26, from Birch Hill, Cheddar, have vowed to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for the British Heart Foundation after their mum died of a heart attack last year aged 56.

Kristian said: “We chose Kilimanjaro because it represents a hard challenge and to me that is something that our mother dealt with on a daily basis.

“This is our way of continuing to show our support and respect of what she had achieved all her life despite suffering with her illness.”

The pair will also be doing quiz nights, a half marathon and a charity car wash to try to raise funds.
