EAGLE-EYED observers may notice a new name on the Burnham RNLI lifeboat, due to a re-fit.
Burnham lifeboat Staines Whitfield has returned to headquarters for it’s five year re-fit, and been temporarily replaced by lifeboat Jack and Joyce Burcombe from the RNLI relief fleet.
On April 25, both boats were launched and after a short trip, Staines Whitfield was recovered on a towing trailer for transit to the lifeboat repair facility at Cowes in the Isle of Wight.
