A Yatton stencil design company says it is ‘immensely proud’ after some of its artwork will be displayed at the Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Ziggy Thistle made Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep stencils to be displayed on the walls at the hospital, and representatives from the firm donated the pieces to the hospital’s Grand Appeal charity.

The firm’s business development manager, Sasha Deller, said: “From the original digital images, to the final cutting, making and finishing of the framed artwork, all components in our products are produced on-site, or sourced from other local independent artists and manufacturers, all within the UK.

“All of the team are immensely proud of being able to produce artwork that The Grand Appeal are enthusiastic about putting up on the walls at the Bristol Children’s Hospital.”

A spokesman for the Grand Appeal said the charity had funded hospital art for many years and was excited to display the Ziggy Thistle pieces.
