A family-run business in Weston has launched into its new depot and bosses are inviting everyone to celebrate with them.

Container Team – a storage company owned by husband and wife team Hazel and Tim Edwards – has been providing customers with storage space for 14 years.

But the company bosses decided their recent move to Westland Distribution Park, in Winterstoke Road, was also a perfect opportunity to re-market their business.

Mrs Edwards told the Mercury she wanted to make talking about storage ‘less boring.’

She said: “We realise talking about storage is really dull. But by launching our space programme we can talk about launching people into better storage. We can engage with people.

“It has been a long process but we had 80 customers before and now have about 110, which is great.

“But at the same time, we know we haven’t scratched the surface. We want to engage with more businesses in Weston and provide a great service.”

Container Team is hosting an official launch of the Weston Space Progamme this week, with two days of music, activities and refreshments.

It all starts at noon tomorrow (Friday) and 9am on Saturday.
