A Weston-super-Mare Indian restaurant has launched a new menu for vegan diners.

Hussains in Orchard Street is now offering a range of vegan main meals.

Dishes range from medium-heat curries such as chana massala and mixed vegetable bhuna to a hot mixed vegetable jalfrezi.

Starters are also on offer including onion bhajis, vegetable samosas and aloo chaat, as well as a selection of rice dishes.

A restaurant spokesman said: “I know many people are trying to hunt down an Indian which provides vegan dishes and here we are.

“I know many people will benefit from this.

“A vegan diet is great for your health.

“We have delicious vegan dishes for you to try with your friends and family, available for collection and delivery too.”

Hussains opened in 2008 and has gone on to become one of the most popular restaurants in the town.
