A Weston-super-Mare woman has launched an online course which teaches new parents baby massage techniques.

Bev Nickolls launched the Online Complete Baby Massage Course after teaching baby massage courses for more than nine years.

The course contains 25 units and is aimed at parents who want to learn how to massage their baby in their own home.

Bev said: “During my time running baby massage courses I have worked with hundreds of parents so that they benefit from this unique bonding experience.

“It is so lovely to hear so many parents say how much more relaxed and settled baby has become since starting the massage, and often sleep improves for both of them.

“However, very often parents cannot make it along to regular classes or they want to learn together with their partners, who are only around at different times to classes.

“This was the inspiration behind the online course, which is very different to attending or watching a weekly class, and is built around the needs of the parent learning at home with their family.”
