Time to Grow outgrows base

A WESTON shop specialising in goods for children and babies has moved to new, bigger premises in the town centre.
Time To Grow first opened in Locking Road 18 months ago, and sells nearly-new kids’ items on a commission basis.
But the firm – which operates solely to cover its costs – has quickly outgrown its start-up base, and has upped sticks for a larger shop in Baker Street.
Owner Tracey Edwards said: “In this economic climate it is so hard to manage and yet you constantly have to spend money on your little ones as they grow out of everything so quick.
“When I opened the shop 18 months ago the concept behind the store was to have a shop for the local community to be able to buy babies’ and children’s goods in excellent condition but at affordable prices.
“This is the concept: Help people shopping on a budget and get some money back on outgrown items towards what they need next. It’s a great way to recycle.
“I am very fortunate that I have good friends and family that help out in the shop, and yet nobody gets paid a wage, including myself.
“I truly believe in this day and age life should be about helping and supporting each other in these difficult times.”
