A CHARITY walk along Weston’s seafront was officially launched at The Winter Gardens on Monday.

The Family Walk Along The Prom 2012 will raise funds for The British Heart Foundation’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal, and Monday’s event fired the starting gun for this year’s walk which will take place on September 9.

The walk will start at Weston General Hospital and continue to Marine Parade.
