Cheers for village beer festival

More than £7,000 has been raised for local charities by Yeo Valley Lions Club.

Members organised the Claverham Beer Festival in the summer and have now handed out cheques to Cleeve, Claverham and Yatton Scout Group for repairs to its headquarters, 2nd Yatton Guides for an outdoor shelter, Weston Hospicecare, Great Western Air Ambulance, MS Therapy Centre, Crossroads Young Carers, Barton Camp at Winscombe and the Claverham Street Dancing Club.
