A FREE arts workshop held by a parents group gave young children the chance to pitch in and help make part of the sets used in a pantomime.
Dreamland Adventure, by theatre company The Big Act, came to The Blakehay Theatre in Wadham Street earlier this month.
It was billed as a ‘magical interactive theatre treat’ for children aged 2-7.
Mothers group Weston-super-Mum (WSM) ran a free arts workshop at the theatre’s studios every day.
A spokesman for WSM said: “Dreamland Adventure at the Blakehay has been a real coming together of talent, fusing art and theatre for young children, who have produced some really inventive pieces. All the parents and grandparents have mucked in too.
“Thanks to the Blakehay Theatre and The Big Act for giving us this opportunity.”
