A large crowd enjoyed musical performances from Sarah Eden-Winn and Lipinski, plus an appearance from the cast of The Playhouse’s Aladdin pantomime – including Eastenders star John Altman.

The honour of pressing the plunger was given to Weston Mayor Jos Holder, Mayoress Roz Willis and youngsters from the town’s rugby clubs.
