A circus will mark 250 years of the art with a brand new show in Somerset.

The Circus Mondao will see international artists, funny clowns and exotic animals perform in Highbridge next week.

The traditional family circus will see a host of high flying acrobats take to the stage alongside the crazy clown Kikin, from Chile and the death defying Wheel Of Death and Spiderman.

The circus will offer up something the whole family can enjoy which is suitable for babies to pensioners.

It will be in town from Wednesday to April 22 with shows at 5pm and 7.30pm every weekday and 2pm on the weekend.

There will also be an additional 5pm performance on April 21.

The big tent will be set up at Oaktree Arena, in Bristol Road.

Tickets, priced £5-15, are available from the box office on site.
