An evening of music will help raise money for Weston General Hospital’s Scanner Appeal.

The Bleadon Belles and Friends plan to make one last big push to help the appeal reach its £400,000 target.

Over the past year the Bleadon WI has raised nearly £8,400 for the appeal and the ladies hope a final concert will help them boost their final total.

The Belles and WI Choir will be joined by Andrew King and Richard Lennox on Saturday evening for a fundraising concert.

There will also be sets from the Worle Community Choir, the Reflexions trio, the Brass Quartet and Jordan Evans.

The money raised will go towards helping the hospital provide the best care for their patients.

The concert will be held
in the village’s Coronation Hall, in Coronation Road, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £7.50, are available from the Post Office in Purn Way, or on 01934 812370.
