A parish council has called for the consultation period attached to plans for 21 new houses to be extended by North Somerset Council.

Congresbury Parish Council has written to the authority regarding Freemantle Developments’ proposal for the homes, off the A370 and close to the junction with Smallway.

The consultation period for the scheme is set to end on January 16, but the parish council says it will not be able to properly consider the application until the next meeting of its planning committee on January 30.
