People in Congresbury have rallied against a developer’s plan to build 50 homes in their village – and have been busy handing out leaflets to warn their neighbours of the plan.

Gladman Homes wants to develop an area off Wrington Lane, and the application’s fate will be decided by a planning inspector in March.

North Somerset Council’s planning officers appeared to withdraw their objection to the application last month, and villagers are now urging people to object to the plans online via www.n-somerset.gov.uk/planning
