Couple stranded on rocks

TWO people had a narrow escape this evening (Sat) after they became trapped on rocks.
The couple were caught off-guard by the high tide at Brean Down and were unable to get back to shore.
Burnham Coastguard was alerted by the beach warden and they were rescued by the lifeboat at 6pm.
The lucky couple were then brought back to the beach to be checked over by paramedics. They received no injuries from the incident.
